Basics

Kittykat is an average working stiff finding out just what you can do with a BA in English. She works with goofy teenagers, but they embarrass themselves enough online with their outrageous stunts and racy pictures without Kittykat adding to their shame, so don't expect anything much in here to deal with work-related stories. She also loves to read books and babble about both obscure and generally-known topics. She loves fantasy and science fiction and can usually also be found burbling about fandom at least once a week. She even cosplays and attends conventions once in a blue moon. If you haven't noticed, she's a geek who is geek enough to know that she is glad the word shifted away from its original meaning. Eating chicken heads sounds gross.

She likes to whine a lot. Don't expect anything deeply profound to appear very often.

I generally don't friend people who never update IJ unless I know them from somewhere else (hi old LJ friends). I also won't friend anyone whose views as far as I can make them out from a search of recent entries/userinfo are likely to leave me foaming at the mouth. Sorry if you got your hopes up. Sometimes I purge my friendslist-- it's not a personal thing, I just get rid of journals that either aren't that interesting anymore or are really inactive. I usually don't announce when I do friends purges to keep the drama llama from visiting. If you're really that worried you can use the e-mail and contact me to get back on the list.

I can and do moderate my own comments like I occasionally moderate my communities. Generally, unless you're being a total douche you can stay.

I reserve the right to ban whoever I want for whatever reason I want. And no, I don't have to explain to you why you're banned, either, though generally it's pretty easy for a person to tell if they're being a douche. Don't be a douche and you're fine.
